PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The “Tower Fellow for a Day” colloquium is specifically designed for those eager to participate in and contribute to the unique multigenerational learning environment of The University of Texas at Austin. Over the course of one day, attendees will experience all facets of the Tower Fellows Program, including discussions with scholarly experts, networking opportunities, and exclusive campus tours.

Tower Fellow for a Day Activities

  • Engage in a discussion on midlife curiosity with Dr. Michael Starbird, University Distinguished Teaching Professor of Mathematics
  • Participate in our Distinguished Speakers Series luncheon, featuring Professor Kevin Frazier, AI Innovation and Law Fellow
  • Return to the classroom for an enriching academic experience
  • Experience a preview of the University’s premier programs and centers through an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour
  • Hear from Tower Fellow alumni how the experience impacted their life journeys
  • Gain insights on the Tower Fellows Program structure and application process from Program Director Megan Frisque

  • Fee covers programming, lunch, and parking 
  • The registration fee will be reduced from the program fee upon enrollment
