Angie Gette is a marketing lecturer for The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, teaching courses in brand and product management and in experience mapping and service design. The chief strategy officer for marketing company Springbox, Gette has more than 20 years of experience in brand management with consulting and leadership roles.
With Springbox, she worked on new business development, digital transformation strategies, and the assembling of an analytics team. Clients included Cigna, PwC, Lenovo, dell.com, and HomeAway. She has also worked for the W2O Group, Dell, and Verizon Communications. She has received an Advertising Research Foundation David Ogilvy Award, an AdWeek Ad of the Day Award, and a Promo Magazine award.
Gette is a mentor with the McCombs Master of Science in Marketing Advisory Council. She was also a mentor in the GENaustin Pathfinder program, which helps develop young women leaders. Gette has volunteered with ATX Kids Club, Genesis Gardens, and Samaritan’s Purse.
She has an MBA in marketing from Texas McCombs and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado.
