Gerald Nemeroff

Jerry Nemeroff is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He also teaches in UT’s College of Communication. For McCombs, he teaches MBA and undergraduate courses focused on business development, negotiation, and leading a business development function.

After 19 years at Ernst & Young, Nemeroff retired and currently serves EY as an executive coach for new partners and as an instructor for Account Management and Go to Market classes. While at EY, Nemeroff was the consulting practice leader for the firm’s Southwest Region Technology sector, where he led process improvement and risk services professionals. He was also the global coordinating partner for Dell Technologies and the State of Texas, where he was responsible for all sales and service delivery activity globally.

Prior to coming to Austin, he had top-line responsibility for EY’s Ohio Valley and Western NY/Western PA/WV regions as the area director of business development. He also held go-to- market leadership roles in EY’s Tax and Consulting national practices, where he helped bring new solutions to market. Before joining EY, he spent 16 years at Xerox and three years at ADP in sales, sales management, and sales training roles.

Nemeroff earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in marketing from West Virginia University.
