Huoy Khoo is a lecturer in the Department of Information, Risk and Operations Management for the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He teaches undergraduate courses on information technology management, problem solving and programming, and database management.

Khoo has worked as a programmer analyst and database specialist, developing business reporting systems that dramatically reduced processing times. His research into how organizations handle technology upgrades has been published in leading IT journals.

He earned a Ph.D. in business administration, focused on computer information systems, from Georgia State University. He also has an MBA with a concentration in business information systems and a B.S. in computer science, both from Mississippi State University.
