Jackie Kim is a lecturer and BBA career coach within the Career Management and Corporate Relations team at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She teaches a course on career planning and professional development and supports students through career advising, programming, and education with a focus on the Canfield Business Honors Program and those pursuing management consulting opportunities.

Prior to Texas McCombs, Jackie was vice president of business development at Avanza Strategies where she provided advisory services to national healthcare system clients. Earlier in her career, she served as senior consultant and business analyst in the strategy & operations practice at Deloitte. Her professional background also includes corporate affairs and chief of staff roles across the nonprofit, education, and insurance sectors.

She earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a master’s degree in sociology and bachelor’s degree in biology from Stanford University.
