How long does the program take?
The MS in marketing is an accelerated master’s program that takes 10 months to complete. The next cohort of MSM students will start the program in July 2026 and graduate in May 2027.
How is the program delivered?
The Master of Science in Marketing program is delivered as an in-residence program on the UT campus in Austin
How much does the program cost?
In-state tuition for Texas residents is $54,000, and out-of-state tuition is $58,000. Learn more about tuition and financial aid options.
Can I apply as a current undergraduate at UT?
Yes, current UT Austin undergraduate students can apply using the MS Bridge Program admissions option for all four full-time Master of Science programs.
What is the application process like?
The application process consists of three steps, including an online application, submission of transcripts and test scores, and a video assessment. View a detailed outline of the application process here.
What are the application deadlines?
The application for the next MSM cohort is now open. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. There are four rounds of deadlines:
Round 1: October 14, 2025
Round 2: January 13, 2026 (Final deadline for international student applications)
Round 3: March 31, 2026
Round 4: May 5, 2026 (Final deadline).
Are test scores required for my application?
GRE or GMAT test scores are now optional for all applicants. TOEFL or IELTS for all international students are required (waivers are available).
I am an international applicant. Can I apply after the final international deadline?
No. The final international deadline is set in order to allow time for visa processing. Additionally, due to a high volume of applications, we cannot accept applications after the final deadline.
