Traditional MPA Admissions Process

The Master in Professional Accounting (MPA) program is open to students with a bachelor’s degree in any academic discipline. Apply to the traditional MPA by following these steps:

Before you apply, be sure to 

Submit Application

Submit a completed online ApplyTexas application and pay the application fee. 

The application opens by the first week of September each year. Applications are accepted for the fall semester only.

Upload Materials

After you receive a confirmation email from UT Admissions, upload all supplemental application materials

All materials, including official test scores, must be received by the final deadline. Applications completed after the deadline are considered on a space-available basis only.

Check Status

Admissions decisions are posted on the application status site.

The MPA admissions committee reviews U.S. applications on a rolling basis. All international applications are reviewed after the application deadline.
