The BHP Make a Mark Campaign

History

The Make a Mark tradition was started by the Business Honors Program (BHP) Class of 2000 and the BHP Advisory Committee, who wanted to create a scholarship that would aid students financially during their college experience, and also help the program compete with other nationally ranked schools. The campaign is a chance for graduating seniors to support the program and make their mark for the students who follow them. A Make a Mark pledge is a great way to say thank you to the BHP program and invest in the future of the school.

The MBA Leave a Legacy Campaign

History

Since 1996, the Office of Resource Development has collaborated annually with committees of second-year MBA students on a  student-run campaign designed to allow MBAs to give back to the McCombs School of Business. The Class of 1996 provided this opportunity with the inaugural campaign in 1996, creating a strong MBA tradition and fueling the momentum for future campaigns. Student participation in the Leave A Legacy campaign has steadily increased and by 2001, the amount pledged had more than quadrupled to nearly $109,000 since the campaign's inception. The class of 2004 set new records again, in both class participation and funds pledged. All of the funds raised in these campaigns have been given to the school for projects which were selected by MBA students for the benefit of future McCombs School students.
