I am originally from Brazil and got my undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting there as well. I also worked as a financial advisor in Brazil and as a commercial analyst in a venture capital firm. I love to write about macroeconomics and finance and lately have had an interest in FinTechs. Apart from school, I like to stay active. When I was younger I used to do Muay Thai, and after moving to Austin, I have become very attracted to running and ran my first half marathon last month.
I am proud to have completed my Masters in Finance and two bachelors degrees before the age of 25 and to have gained finance and programming skills. I’m also very proud of the great network of friends that I’ve been able to have met here in Austin. Outside of school, I am incredibly proud that I had the opportunity to fight Muay Thai professionally.

Being awarded a full athletic scholarship to pursue a degree. Paraguay unfortunately has not yet developed a successful higher education system. I was seeking an opportunity to seek for better education, and I wanted the opportunity to study outside of Paraguay. Thankfully, UT saw my athletic talent and offered me the greatest opportunity I have had in my life. Here I am, doing my best to honor this opportunity.
The desire to overcome a challenge and to be challenged. The McCombs School of Business is prestigious, academically brilliant and very tough. I wanted to be part of those few selected students. I also wanted to earn a high quality education but most importantly, I love challenges and that’s what drew me to apply to this school.

The project took us five months to complete, and the deliverables included a cost analysis and manufacturing process. The process was very rewarding because the design could potential save the lives of race car drivers and spectators.
