Apply to Our Program

The Master of Science in Marketing Program will begin accepting applications in September 2016

Admission is only available for summer enrollment. All students begin in July, and complete the program the following May. Expected start date for the Class of 2018 is July 1, 2017. All students must be able to arrive in Austin on or before July, 2017 to participate in orientation. Admission to the program is selective.

Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Mathematical aptitude and demonstrated ability to handle quantitative material
  • Strong communication skills and motivation
A completed application consists of the following:

  • All sections within online application filled to entirety
  • Official transcripts uploaded in PDF format
  • GRE or GMAT scores (GMAT code for MSM is now: 396-44-93)
  • TOEFL or IELTS score for all international applicants
  • Personal essays
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Resume
Additionally, if the admissions committee requires further information about a candidate, an interview may be required.

Application Deadlines

The application for the Class of 2018 is open! The deadlines for submission are below:

Round One: November 14, 2016 First deadline for all applicants

Round Two: January 23, 2017 Final deadline for international applicants

Round Three: April 17, 2017 

Round Four: May 15, 2017 Final deadline for domestic applicants

Texas Resident Tuition and Fees: $34,000

Non-Resident Tuition and Fees: $42,000

Resources

All applications will be evaluated for any merit-based assistance that is available. A separate application is not necessary.

Loans

Domestics students are eligible to apply for most loans through the Office of Student Financial Services. For federal and state assistance, students will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority deadline for financial aid applications is March 15. We do not offer academic employment or full tuition waivers to our students.

International Students are not eligible for federal loans and should be prepared to fund expenses with their own resources.
