Applying to a Ph.D. program can be a complicated and daunting task, and we strive to make applying as straightforward as possible.


For all applicants, it involves a multi-step process which involves admission to both The University of Texas Graduate School (Steps 1-5 below) and Texas McCombs Doctoral Program (Steps 6-10 below).

The University of Texas Graduate School

1.

Log-into My Texas and complete appropriate online application

2.

Pay the Application Fee (U.S. $65/ International $90)

3.

Submit your Transcripts

4.

Submit your GRE/GMAT Test Scores and/or TOEFL (International Students only)

5.

Request and submit Three Letters of Recommendation

6.

Log-into MyStatus

7.

Submit a Statement of Purpose - Statement of goals and objectives (generally about two pages in length) highlighting your particular interests in our Ph.D. program, your relevant credentials related to those interests, and your reasons for wanting to do graduate work at the University of Texas

8.

Submit your Current Resume

9.

Submit a supplemental Department Application Form, if required - IROM and Marketing

10.

Monitor your status at MyStatus .
