TVL ACCELERATOR
The Texas Venture Labs Accelerator matches Texas startups with cross-functional teams of UT Austin graduate students for 10-week startup consulting projects. Through this collaborative initiative, companies gain valuable insights, expertise, and strategic guidance from these aspiring business leaders. By actively engaging with TVL Accelerator, startups demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement and their willingness to leverage the collective knowledge of seasoned entrepreneurs and the bright minds of graduate students. TVL INVESTMENT COMPETITION
The Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (TVLIC) is a transformative platform for student-led companies to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess. The competition challenges these budding entrepreneurs to refine their business models, develop compelling investment strategies, and present their ideas to a panel of experienced judges and potential investors. Companies that participate in TVLIC demonstrate their ability to articulate a clear vision, effectively communicate their value proposition, and showcase their market viability. We host the Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (TVLIC) each semester, open to all UT graduate students. The competition mimics the real-world process of raising venture capital. Students present new business ideas and receive invaluable feedback from entrepreneurs and investors, along with cash prizes for winners. Many TVLIC competitors go on to fund and launch their businesses.
