Train as an Impact Investor

Alter the description to say “Turner MIINT is an international competition and experiential learning opportunity run by the Wharton School of Business and Bridges Impact Foundation. McCombs has won the competition twice (2020 and 2025), and is the only public school to have won twice. Each team will select an impact entrepreneur to investigate, conduct due diligence, write an investment memo, and present their investment recommendation to a Board at the MIINT competition in April.

The winners receive a $50,000 investment for the company they represented. Students apply for a spot on the team in September and start work in October. They must take an impact investing class with Dr. Meeta Kothare in the Spring semester while working on the competition materials. Coursework ties directly to the practical work of developing investment recommendations.
