Chantal Delys is Assistant Dean and Director of Executive Development Programs at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin. In that capacity, she heads all non-degree programs including open-enrollment, international programs and custom programs. More specifically, she is responsible for strategic planning, program development and client relationships for the programs.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the field, Chantal Delys has seen the tremendous growth of executive education, as well as how the economic turmoil affects the business. At the University of Texas, she has worked in close partnership with companies to design cutting-edge business programs that are carefully aligned with the strategic goals of the client organization. She has gained extensive experience in needs assessment and curriculum development and has designed over eighty major projects for approximately seventy organizations in the U.S. and overseas, including such Fortune 500 companies as Accor, BBVA, Motorola, 3M, Dell Inc., Shell Oil, Johnson & Johnson, Halliburton, Frito-Lay, Essilor USA and internationally, Banco do Brasil in Brazil, Cemex, Femsa and Vitro in Mexico, LG Electronics in Korea, Motorola and BEPC in China.

Chantal Delys believes that executive education is a powerful agent of change within organizations and economic development in growing nations.

Born and raised in France, Chantal Delys graduated from Pau University in Southwest France with a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts. She came to the United States to be a Lecturer at Indiana University for what she thought would be a one-year appointment. She earned an MBA degree at Indiana and has remained in the United States ever since.
