Texas McCombs+ Program

Texas McCombs+ provides experiential learning and global programs designed to grow influential business leaders through action-based co-curricular and academic initiatives. You'll have an individually tailored experience that includes seminars from industry experts, micro-consulting projects, and access to a hand-selected group of professional communication and leadership coaches.

    McCombs+ Projects

    Ready to test the skills you've learned in the classroom or gain exposure to a new industry? Work on an 8-10 week micro-consulting project with a team of your classmates to solve real challenges and present your findings and recommendations to the client company or organization.

    The learning never stops. As a Texas McCombs MBA, you’ll have access to a series of live events and webinars on leadership and communication, along with specialized industry training such as Financial Modeling, Pragmatic Marketing, Corporate Valuation, and Executive Presence.

Executive MBA Immersions

Executive Immersions take place outside of the normal classroom and provide real-time, real-place exposure and application to what you're learning in the classroom. Each Immersion is linked to course content and will include executive/company visits, alumni networking, cultural experiences, and time to network and bond with classmates.

    Immersion Class Weekends

    Each semester includes one Immersion class weekend, which is held off campus and provides opportunities for in-depth experiential learning. Immersion weekends align with semester themes for content, including "Language of Business" in New York City, "Leading in the New Economy in Dallas, "Leading the Policy Level" in Washington, D.C., and "Executive Visioning" in the Austin-area Hill Country.

    Global Immersion

    The Executive MBA program includes a 6-day Global Immersion course in the summer between the 1st and 2nd year. The Global Immersion combines stateside classroom learning with in-country company visits and cultural experiences. Previous Executive MBA global destinations include Southeast Asia, South Africa, East Africa, India, Eastern Europe, China, and South America.
