Anitesh Barua ❘ Professor
Anitesh Burua is a professor of MSITM and the chair of McCombs' department of Information, Risk & Operations Management. His research and teaching interests include unstructured data analytics, mobile apps, cryptocurrency and blockchain, open source innovation, ways to measure business value of information technology, analysis of strategic information technology investments, and the economics of information systems.
Constantine Caramanis ❘ Professor

Constantine Caramanis ❘ Professor
Constantine Caramanis is a professor from the Cockrell School of Engineering. His research interests center on decision-making in large-scale complex systems, with a focus on learning and computation. Specifically, he is interested in robust and adaptable optimization, high dimensional statistics and machine learning, and applications to large-scale networks, including social networks, wireless networks, transportation networks, and energy networks. He also works on applications of machine learning and optimization to computer-aided design.
Classroom to career
Students from the MSITM program have gone on to hold roles as data, software, and machine learning engineers and consultants at companies across industries. Program alumni utilize the hands-on learnings on AI and machine learning from the MSITM curriculum and capstone projects to succeed in their roles and adapt to new technologies.
