Students learn how to navigate business and recruiting dining occasions with class at the MPA Etiquette Dinner.  MPA Career Services staff teaches valuable tips and strategies, while representatives of sponsoring organizations participate as table hosts.  A networking dessert reception at the end provides an opportunity to connect with all participating employers.

This event enables students to practice their interviewing skills in 30-minute mock interview slots with a real recruiter. Interviewers provide verbal advice immediately after the interview. In addition, they will complete a comprehensive feedback form to help students improve when interacting with employers. Students have met their real interviewers through their mock interviews and some students have received real offers from their mock interviews.

The event provides companies the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of BBA students while sharing opinions and engaging in lively, thought-provoking discussion. The BBA Etiquette Dinners (held each fall and spring) provide networking practice for approximately 70 BBA students with a networking session in addition to learning the do's and don'ts of business dining etiquette. This is the MBA program’s largest recruiting event. Open to Texas MBAs across all 5 programs (Full-Time, Evening, Executive, Houston and Dallas), this is a two day recruiting event. On Thursday, there is a networking cocktail reception in the AT&T Executive Education Center Ballroom. Meet with first and second year MBAs who are looking for internship and full-time opportunities.
Friday, 26th
10:00am - 2:00pm, DKR Stadium in the Red Zone on the 8th Floor
This is the MBA program’s largest recruiting event. Open to Texas MBAs across all 5 programs (Full-Time, Evening, Executive, Houston and Dallas), this is a two day recruiting event. On Friday, the 26th, we will have a traditional career fair (booths) at DKR Stadium in the Red Zone on the 8th Floor.  Meet with first and second year MBAs who are looking for internship and full-time opportunities.
