The BOSS Awards honor individuals who best embody the spirit and impact of the Business of Sports Institute and elevate our community through leadership, innovation, and excellence. Covering the period between BOSS 2025 and BOSS 2026, these awards celebrate standout students, alumni, and industry leaders shaping the future of sports business. Undergraduate honorees must be upperclassman, Graduate recipients must be graduating in May 2027 or later, and Student-Athlete awardees must have been enrolled UT students during the BOSS year.

Honors a major sports industry leader whose innovation, leadership, and impact exemplify excellence in the business of sports.

Alumnus of the Year

Recognizes a UT graduate making a lasting impact in the sports industry while advancing the mission and visibility of McCombs and the Business of Sports Institute.

Graduate Students of the Year

Celebrates exceptional graduate students who demonstrate leadership, initiative, and meaningful contributions to advancing BOSI’s programs and partnerships.

Undergraduate Students of the Year

Honors undergraduate students who have shown dedication, creativity, and hands-on service in strengthening BOSI’s presence and student community.

Student Athletes of the Year

Recognizes McCombs student-athletes who exemplify excellence both academically and athletically, representing the intersection of performance and purpose.
