The Export Fellows program is an intensive six-week course taught by members of the Texas Camino Real District Export Council – the leading District Export Council in the nation. Participants explore what makes a product or service “exportable,” market entry feasibility assessments, supply chain logistics, and non-tariff barriers to trade, and upon completion of the program they receive a certification from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Weekly sessions meet from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on five (non-home game) Saturdays, with breakfast provided. The program concludes with final presentations, followed by a celebration luncheon with program faculty. Weekly sessions will cover:
- Choosing an Exportable Product & Market
- Market Entry Feasibility Studies & Market Research
- Non-Tariff Barriers to Trade
- Supply Chain Logistics & Concerns
- Mock Presentations & Real-Time Feedback
