Students
Developing Future Leaders
Our students are preparing to lead with purpose, navigate complex challenges, and make a meaningful impact in business and beyond.

Student Programs
Longhorn Leadership Fellows (McCombs Undergrad)
Longhorn Leadership Fellows play a pivotal role in shaping the McCombs student experience. These students serve as peer facilitators for incoming students in Professional Identity and Development, where they foster a culture of belonging, personal growth, and leadership development at McCombs.

Texas Trailblazers (UT Undergrad)
Texas Trailblazers gathers students from across UT Austin for an immersive leadership experience. Guided by Gay Gaddis and other executives and leaders, participants explore the realities of leadership, develop critical leadership capabilities, and build lasting relationships with their peers.
Peer Leadership Coaches (MBA)
In the Peer Leadership Coaching Program, high-potential first-year MBA students receive coaching training and leadership development before serving as peer coaches to incoming MBA teams, fostering student success, community building, and leadership growth across cohorts.
Speaker Series
Herbert Family Ethics and CSR Speaker Series
We invite corporate social responsibility and ethics experts to McCombs to address a wide range of topics, including whistleblowing, poverty, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and conscious capitalism. Speakers with a variety of backgrounds prime attendees for the ever-changing and complicated business world. The Ethics and CSR Speaker Series is sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Ethics through the generous support of the Lila and Ira Herbert Family Foundation.
VIP Speaker Series
This prestigious series has been around for over a decade enabling Fortune 500 C-level executives to visit McCombs to share their views, insights, and perspectives. VIP also allows students to ask these guests questions and interact in more intimate environments.
