Program Overview
The Health Informatics & Health Information Technology (HIHIT) program is designed to prepare you for a variety of careers in Health IT, or to help you upskill and refresh your current skills if you’re already working in the field. The program includes up to four courses and hands-on training with electronic health record software systems, including a working health information exchange (HIE). Students also learn to analyze data using SQL and Tableau. There are two format options (certificate and non-certificate), allowing you to select the course format that best accommodates your schedule and needs.
Two Paths to COmpletion
Learn more about the two learning formats at the links below. If you’d like to speak directly with a member of the HIHIT team to discuss your options, you can book a one-on-one meeting here.
