How long does the MSITM program take to complete?
The MSITM program is a full-time, 10-month curriculum that begins each summer in early July and concludes in May of the following spring semester. The program includes an orientation and core summer courses, followed by fall and spring semesters with electives and a required capstone project in the final term.
Are GRE or GMAT scores required for admission to Texas McCombs MSITM?
No, GRE and GMAT scores are optional for all Texas McCombs Master of Science programs, including MSITM. Applications are fully considered whether or not you submit test scores—there is no disadvantage to applying without them. If you believe your GRE or GMAT score demonstrates your academic ability or strengthens your application, you are welcome to include it for review.
How much does the MSITM program cost?
The current tuition for the Texas McCombs MSITM program is approximately $54,000 for Texas residents and $58,000 for out-of-state residents. This tuition covers the full 10-month, full-time program but does not include additional expenses such as books, software, living costs, laptops, or optional fees like parking. Once an applicant accepts their admissions offer, a non-refundable $2,000 pre-enrollment tuition fee is required to secure a seat.
