Find Academic Support, All Four Years

Our program has dedicated academic advisors, and we pair all students with peer and alumni mentors to help you make the most of your time at McCombs.

Meet Your Canfield BHP Advisors

Our advisors are fluent in university and Canfield BHP resources. In an appointment with an advisor, you'll discuss more than just academic classes: the Canfield BHP advisors want to know you and your goals, struggles, and strengths. Our advisors take an individualized approach to each student's academic plan. They offer scholastic guidance, and they can answer any questions you may have about UT and the Canfield BHP.

Stephanie Cantu

Stephanie Cantu is excited to return to the Forty Acres after graduating from the Canfield Business Honors and Plan II Honors Programs. Her diverse experiences in higher education equip her with the ability to help students navigate their own unique academic and professional paths.

Paul Pritchett

Paul Pritchett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from The University of Louisiana. Paul worked in Washington D.C. as a consultant for the Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency. Peer Mentors
  • Navigate Freshman Year with Ease

We match every Canfield BHP freshman with a Canfield BHP upperclassman to serve as their mentor. Peer Mentors are there to help new students settle into Canfield BHP and UT. They help connect new students to upperclassmen and campus resources. Every Canfield BHP freshman will have ongoing interaction with their peer mentor during the first semester.

Alumni Mentors
  • Enter Your Career with Confidence

We match sophomores and juniors with Canfield BHP alumni based on similar academic and/or professional interests. Alumni mentors provide advice to students on major and career exploration, career and/or graduate school preparation, professional development and balancing school, career and outside interests.
