The McCombs Momentum Giving Club makes philanthropy possible for all of us. For as little as $25 per year, you can make a difference in the lives of future Longhorns.

Qualifying MEmbers

To become a McCombs Momentum member, you must give $25 per year for a minimum of two years consecutively. Members who give more than 10 years consecutively receive a special recognition gift.

McCombs Momentum members receive:

  • A welcome letter from the dean.  
  • A car decal for each year of membership.  
  • An annual McCombs Momentum Mail newsletter highlighting supported programs and gift impact. 
  • An annual McCombs Momentum Member MOMENT spotlighting loyal supporters. 
  • A holiday greeting from the dean.

FAQs

I can’t wait to become a McCombs Momentum Giving Club member! How do I get started?

That’s great! We are excited to have you join us in providing essential support for McCombs students here on the Forty Acres! To start your giving journey, simply click here to access our giving portal to make your first contribution and make sure to select “make this a recurring gift” so your donation is automatically counted toward your membership. You can choose to make your gift recurring monthly or annually. Once you make two years of consecutive gifts, you will qualify as a McCombs Momentum member!

Where does my money go?

McCombs Momentum membership gifts go to the annual giving fund, which is a flexible account that allows for as-needed funding support of initiatives such as experiential programs, faculty research, facility upkeep, and other student services.

Are McCombs Momentum gifts tax-deductible?

Yes! Because the McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas at Austin are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, your dollars are tax deductible.

How will I know how my dollars are being used?

While we can’t give you an exact breakdown of where your specific donation will be allocated, we are committed to being transparent with how your dollars are being put to good use. McCombs Momentum members will receive regular communications highlighting areas of support and improvements your gifts have helped make happen.

Can I designate my McCombs Momentum gifts to a specific program or department?

The McCombs Momentum Giving Club pools funds so it can support many different areas that affect student life. We are unable to designate specific donations to a particular program or department. For these types of gifts, we recommend reaching out to our development team, which can guide you toward setting up an endowment, scholarship fund, or planned gift. What if I want to donate to the McCombs Momentum Giving Club but I don’t want to receive any updates?

If you prefer to not be contacted after your second consecutive gift, we are happy to oblige. You may simply unsubscribe from our list when making your donation through our online giving portal.
