Max V. Alper is a Managing Director at PPC Enterprises LLC, a private equity firm. He was previously with KKR, where he led private equity investments in the Services, Chemicals, and Consumer sectors. He has served on the boards of directors and audit committees of Del Monte Corporation, Big Heart Pet Brands, The Brickman Group, and BrightView Landscape, and was also involved with KKR’s investment in The Nielsen Company. Prior to joining KKR Mr. Alper was with SAB Capital, Madison Dearborn Partners, and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. Mr. Alper graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA/BA in Plan II and Business Honors, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Holly McMullan is head of business development –North America for Apollo Global Management where she is responsible for fundraising efforts for Apollo's private equity, natural resources, real estate, and credit businesses. Prior to joining Apollo in 2008, Ms. McMullan was a senior vice president at Pequot Capital Management where she was responsible for U.S. sales coverage of institutions and consultants. Prior to Pequot, Ms. McMullan worked for Guggenheim Partners, Bear Stearns, and Robertson Opportunity Capital.
Ms. McMullan holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. (honors) in International Business from Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK.
Ms. McMullan currently serves on the following Advisory Boards: McCombs Advisory Council, Wall Street for McCombs, and the Hicks Muse Private Equity Research Center at The University of Texas at Austin.
Donald (Dwight) Scott is a Senior Managing Director of Blackstone and Head of GSO Capital Partners’ Energy Practice. Mr. Scott sits on the investment committees for GSO’s energy funds, mezzanine funds and rescue lending funds. Before joining GSO Capital in 2005, Mr. Scott was an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of El Paso Corporation. Prior to joining El Paso, Mr. Scott served as a Managing Director in the energy investment banking practice of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Scott is currently a Director of3Bear Energy, LLC, Energy Alloys LLC, TapStone Energy, LLC, FourPoint Energy, LLC, Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC and GEP Haynesville, LLC and Legacy Reserves LP.
Mr. Scott is a member of the Board of Trustees of KIPP, Inc., the Board of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation, and the Wall Street for McCombs Board. He received his Bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Gavin Wolfe is the Managing Partner of Wolfe Holdings, the family office affiliated with Evergreen Capital, L.P. (www.evergreencap.net). Before establishing both Evergreen Capital, L.P. and Wolfe Holdings, LLC, Mr. Wolfe was Chairman of the Energy & Power Group and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Mr. Wolfe began his career in the investment banking group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Wolfe earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from The Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Mr. Wolfe lives in Bedford, New York with his wife Hope and children Garrett and Devon.
Terence Balagia is a Private Wealth Advisor in the Los Angeles office of Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Private Wealth Management, Terence was a Vice President in the New York office of Goldman Sachs where he worked in Corporate Treasury and focused on capital risk management. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Terence worked in the New York office of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he advised clients on the management of foreign exchange, commodity and interest rate risk.
Terence earned his Master in Professional Accounting degree from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Boston College. Terence is a CFA® charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
