The Department of Marketing in the McCombs School of Business (The University of Texas at Austin) is recruiting at the Assistant Professor Level for a position to begin in the fall of 2015.
Applications are invited for all areas of Marketing, including consumer behavior, marketing strategy, and quantitative modeling. However, we have a special interest in candidates with research concentrations that focus on new media, social media, and/or “Big Data.”
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent, or be ABD with a reasonable expectation of completion of requirements for the degree by July of 2015.
Duties include both graduate and undergraduate teaching, research, and the supervision of graduate students. A candidate’s record must indicate strong potential for a high level of scholarly research productivity, as well as excellent teaching ability and communication skills.
